About Evan
I’m Evan Gerrie,
A speed climbing competitor and coach dedicated to developing athletes who want to move fast, think sharp, and compete with purpose. I blend technical precision, biomechanics, and data‑driven training with the mental frameworks that help climbers show up confidently on race day.
As both a coach and an athlete, I understand the demands of the sport from the inside out. I break down movement patterns, analyze splits, and build training systems that turn raw potential into consistent, explosive performance. My coaching style is intentional, analytical, and rooted in helping athletes understand why they move the way they do — not just how.
I’m currently pursuing my B.S. in Sports Administration at the University of Houston, where I focus on athlete development, sport marketing, and performance strategy. That academic foundation shapes the way I coach with structure, clarity, and a long‑term vision for each athlete’s growth.
At the end of the day, my mission is simple: help athletes climb faster, compete smarter, and believe in the version of themselves they’re working toward.
